Default Grinding shifts

Just installed a TiC/Kartboy SS and bushings, and I'm grinding my shifts into second on high RPM shifts now. Not huge or violent grinds, just a little grinding sound. I'm not forcing the gearstick in, just a quick snap of the wrist and it's into second. Even if I hold the clutch in and put it into gear, it still chirps the gears.

Is this horrible for the gears if I do it every once in awhile? Do I just need to break the shifter in?

I definately didn't notice this before when I had the stock bushings. I just want to make sure this is the increased NVH that comes along with the bushings and not installation error.

It is not good for the syncros. I wonder if the grind was already there and the bushings did not allow you to detect it...or...you have the shifter hooked up incorrectly. Does it happen 100% of the time or just sometimes?

make sure all the fittings are tight, and in the right place. You're bushings under the car might be to tight. Good luck!
