Default TIC Holy Shift kit (04 sti)

hey

just got these installed

and they're amazing!

i didnt get the sts lever as i thought the standard is fine

but the shifting now is soo nice its firm and the lever doesnt wobble or anything

highly recomend it to any1

and customer service from TIC is perfect too thanks guys

Yeah...it was one of the best mods I did. Love it too. Much much much better than stock.

If you have the tools I would do it yourself. I think it too me a couple of hours to put in everything.

i donno

i did it with a twin scroll turbo install and gearbox oil and all that

in total i paid 611$ for a whole day work started at 10 am till 10:45 pm!!!

Does anyone know what type of grease I should use for the shifter bushings??? I'm going to install this over the weekend.

white litium grease
marine grease

they are both recommended, they must be thick like those so it doesnt dry out over a long time.

I love the new TiC/KB shifter setup on my 6speed, its very precise and means business, like a race car

I put this in a year ago, and was also extremely pleased with the results. You should have put the short throw in though, you would be shocked how short the throws are with it in.

I thought I'd give it a try with the factory short shifter that was already in it. I don't mind the throws right now, but wouldn't mind having it a bit firmer.

does anyone have trouble getting the car in 1st gear when its cold? do you think new bushing would help this problem?

that happened 2 me when i installed
u just need to loosen the bolt from inside the car
