Default What oil do you prefer?

I am planing to change my gear oil cuz i dont like the way my shifting thru the gears feels like.So i hope that better oil can make it a little bit smoother.
What oil do you use in your gear system?
What engine and diff oil do you use and what is stock oil that your dealer ship use?
I am planing to go from stock to Motul.
What do you think about Motul gear 300 for gear system?
What Motul is the best for Gear, Engine and Diff.?

Oh no, this is a horse that has been beaten to death and you might get a lot of "use the search feature" replies. That being said here is what I use:

Engine: Motul 300V 5W-40 with used oil analysis every change
Tranny/front diff: Motul Gear300 75W-90
Rear diff: Motul 90PA (LSD specific oil, VERY IMPORTANT)

The 300V is a little overkill for just a daily driver (for that I'd say just use Motul 8100), but given my track and autocross habits I feel it is necessary. Also, I run 5W-40 because I track the car and I live in Texas where temperatures get pretty warm, different climates/driving conditions may be better served with 5W-30.

I just boughht a used '06 STi about two weeks ago and I am sitting at dealership right now. I am here to have diff and trans oils changed and service writer wasn't familiar with LSD additives. The owners manual does not require any additives. Does the Subaru oem fluid contain the lsd additives? Do you only use the lsd additives with other brands of diff oils? Does Subaru have an oem lsd additive that can be used with other oils? Thanks,
