Need Help ASAP Kartboy Short Shifter Install

I'm doing the Kartboy Short Shifter Install, almost finished.

I'm using the tutorial at HSPN with the Cobb short shifter.

It's not clear wheter or not if the reverse lock out cable has to have pin that you punch out go through the hole in the middle of the reverse lockout.

Can anyone tell me, because my reverse lockout cable does not reach high enough to see the whole in the middle????????????

Nevermind that effin allen key fell out of the reverse lock out, so I was locked out. As soon as I put it back in the cable shot up and I was able to punch the pin through the cable and slider.
