Default Banging while lunching hard??

Hi people, i have one problem...i've noticed something strange on my car and i dont know if that should be that way or something is wrong.A few days ago it started snowing and i finally came home and took my car for a ride.I did something that i wasnt doing on dry road and i got suprised a little bit.I wanted to make my tyres sliping a little bit but when I put in 1st gear, make some revs (3000-4000rpm) released the clutch and then pushed a throttle some more beside the sliping tyres the whole car start banging or something.Like the wheels are hiting the road.Is it beacuse the wheels were spining to fast or something else maybe? To me it sounds like when u have your engine holders broken or something like that. But also that is happening only when car is on stop and i want to go hard. When the wheels are sliping while the car is in move ( when doing sideways on some parkway or donats or something like that) that bang isn't happening.I know that my eng is terible but i hope u will understand it...thnx

It sounds like wheel hop to me. You need more practice but beware.. practice = not good for your car.

I dont have a lot of experience launching my car as it is not good for it. That said. If you launch the car at (IIRC) too low of an RPM you will get wheel hop. You need to bring the RPMs up higher 4500-5000 is a good place to start. Work on slipping the clutch. NEVER DROP THE CLUTCH. It is terrible for your car.

Wheel hop is when your wheels are bounching up and down during the launch. Traction to no traction, traction to no traction etc. You're likely to break an axle this way. For more info and perhaps more accurite info, run a search. There are many threads on the topic.

Basically blip the throttle until you get to 4500-5000. Get ready to let the clutch out quickly, but do not drop it. Just as you are going to slip the clutch floor the gas and do not let up. It takes some practice, but once you get it right, you will get a nice wheel chirp and some spin then rocket off of the line.

If you dont slip the clutch fast enough, you will smell burned clutch. If you do it too fast, you most likely bog. It is a fine line.. practice makes perfect. But remember any practice, you are shortening the life of your car. Whether it be the transmission, axles or your clutch.

Banging while lunching hard??

why, yes.

you are hearing your rear diff slamming when you launch. get one of the bushing kits to solve the problem.
