Default cobb short throw

now i have incounterd an issue with the cobb short throw im still not sure if im right yet but i think so. ok when i put in the shifter all went smooth exept the lose of the pin holding on the reverse cable. well anyway i took it for a test drive and there was a clicking noise coming from the shifter in conjunction with speed and got louder and more frequent like 1st was click----- click-----click and 2nd click---click--- click and 3rd click-- click and so on so i think as the shifter moves closer to the spot where the rev. cable comes in through the boot so i adj. the shifter to its top hieght and all went away along with the short throw so i think when the shifter is adj. down i think the cable is being pushed down to bind up and hitting the drive shaft i will check it out later but what do you guys think

I've heard of this problem too. Some zip ties should do the job

in the cobb instructions is mentions about needing to put zip ties down underneath to prevent this

it's probably your reverse lockout cable getting shredded by the drive shaft under your car

Yeah you need zipties. Go to Cobb website and find the PDF file with instructions. Its pretty detailed and pretty much tells you what to do.

the shifter is weird because the taller it is (height wise) the shorter the throw. i would rather see it sit lower but its whatever.
