which gear lube is the best

I am trying to see what most people are using for their sti. I was told by the subaru dealership to use valvoline gl-5 for my trans fluid and rear diff. What is everyone else using? Also since I'm on the subject what is the best motor oil? I'm using the european blend castrol synthetic oil.

subaru gear-s oil is the best for the tranny IMO for the engine i run Amsoil

some people say amsoil, some say subaru, some say motul, etc etc
