I'm looking for a Hybrid knob where the collar is a little shorter and the top is a copolymer sphere. Can you do something like that?

recieved the knob... i like the paper towel touch...add a real sence of customness

anyways i love it! its almost got a purply tint in the mid day...awesome

awesome, glad it got to you ok. Paper towels are really good at protecting the finish on the knob for shipping, and they are cheap and readily available

thats one of yours, i forget which one, but they are identical so it doesnt matter. I shipped them both today

Got home today and my new knob was waiting for me. It is really nice. I thought it was really heavy until I took the stock knob off. The '08 knobs feel heavier than I remember the old ones being. This one has a nicer feel to it. Can't wait to try it out tomorrow.

The steel collar is only 1" diameter on this knob, so theres just not a lot of mass behind it. It does weigh around 165g, which is more than the 105g copolymer/brass knobs, but you'd have to get solid stainless steel for a huge amount of weight.
