I got your order info from TiC earlier in the week. I just finished the previous orders I had, so your knob is next up. I'll probably finish it tonight for you.

Perfect fit! Amazing machining work. I think it lends a little more of a European look to the interior of the my '08 STi.

As a former machine tool operator, I am puzzled about the process used to get such an excellent sphere. I can't see it being a lathe or mill without some special attachment. And the finish has polished off any sign of tool marks on the outside.

I have a jig that my grandfather built about 50 years ago. This allows me to cut spheres using a gear mechanism. I then spend at least 15 minutes polishing the knob with various things (secrets) to get the look you see

This is a direct pic of Bownse's car with the Aluminum STi Sphere knob on it.

The extension isnt listed on your website for the STi's 6mt. I'd love to order and actually put it on my stock shifter/knob, but there isnt anywhere to pick it up.

Is it possible to actually make the aluminum piston about 2" longer in an effort to forego the extension?

If not, how do I order the extension for the 6 speed?

Thanks,
Chris

I do paypal for sales of pretty much every product I sell. I dont have a shopping cart software on my website yet.
I can make the extension to fit the stock knob, OR I can make a tall piston knob from copolymer w/ brass insert, or from solid aluminum. I can also make one from stainless steel.
Ill PM you later today with options and pricing.

I can make you a piston based shape, or a sphere shape in white copolymer. Prices are the same for the black copolymer counterparts.

$69 shipped for a white copolymer STi Piston w/ brass thread insert
(I never made a white piston yet, but heres a black for comparison)

$79 shipped for a white copolymer STi Sphere w/ brass thread insert
