I painted mine a satin black, but did not want to worry about scratches. This is why I recommend using plasti-dip black spray. You get the texture, color and toughness.

Well mine looks pretty good w/ satin black. As soon as this thread owner gets back to me i'll be getting 2 sets of stickers. I sanded down the perferations on my dials so they'll lay flat. And I took a black marker around the center edges. I also scrubbed my hazard switch so much it's orange now. Stay tuned for pics.

Here is my setup with the plasti-dip spray.

This is pretty flat. Not chalkboard flat.

That looks sweet. When my set of decals come in I'll take pictures of mine.

Sweet03:

Here is the pics from an 03-04 XS. I will be selling these for $20 shipped.
Before:

After:

Do to the curves I ellected to follow the contour. Since people will be painting these consoles, I figured it was easier to paint than stretch the decal.

Sorry for the poor pictures. I had to get the vehicle back to its owner.

The first to buy this new kit will need to post some completed pics.

Question Plastic Coat Over Vinyl

Scott . . .

I got my vinyl and it looks like it should work great! Nice job!

For the '03 - '04 AC controls . . . Will the Plastic Coat Lift the Vinyl if sprayed over the edges . . . when sprayed to blend in the black vinyl to the black plastic Coat ?
