I used to work at the 3rd largest Mercedes Benz dealer in the USA. To paint a picture, we sold 400new and 200 used Benzes a month. Located in Bethesda Maryland, our clients were basketball players, attorneys, congressman, Chief of staffs for the president etc....Point being alot of people with alot of money. Yet one thing stood out to me more than anything. These people buy 100k cars and put Dolce & Gabanna cloths on their kids backs and talk on satellite phones,...YET, they show up with CHEAP 39.00 child seats , some that are recalled and many that test mid pack with safety test.

Back to this world. We spend 8000.00 on turbo kits, 3k on coilovers, 2k on wheels,....YET............our kids who we adore sit in some times at best a Eddie Bauer child seat. Seats that test and fair OK in the NTSB child safety test.

This is a Universal Restraint System for Children. It is approved in accordance with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 213 for general use in vehicles and it will fit most but not all cars.

A correct fit is likely if the vehicle manufacturer has declared in the vehicle handbook that the vehicle is capable of accepting a Universal Restraint System for this age group. If in doubt, consult either the child restraint manufacturer or the retailer. Only suited for use in vehicles fitted with 3-point safety belts.

The Young Sport is suitable for children ages 9 months to 5 years or so, depending on size. That is their most versatile seat, although if you would feel more comfortable with your daughter in a rear-facing seat it might be a better idea to hold off for now. Certainly in a few months though (unless she is big for her age) the Young Sport is worth a look.

Hard to see but the blue color matches perfectly- I contacted Recaro in Germany and finally after 3 months later I received my "Young Sport"seat(this was back in Jan of '05). I highly reccommend it as the safety, comfort, cleaning ability, and adjustability to grow with the child is unmatched IMO. Definately take 'RaceCompEngineering' up on his offer! Even though I didnt go through him trust me if he can get them and you have a direct source use it!! There is not a better look/feel/adj/safe seat out there I trust more than Recaro...they know their sh*t

Nice, definitely one of those things you have to see to believe. Myles now has matching Recaro Speed seats for the front.

I have the Recaro Start for my daughter. She loves it. I dont use the speakers in it yet due to she is not old enough to keep the volume at an appropriate level.
