Default Weighted STi Shift Knob from TWM Now with engraved shift pattern!

TWM Performance is happy to introduce our first reverse lock compatible stainless steel shift knob for the Subaru STi, the M1 Abrams RL.

Weighing in at 400 grams (14 oz), our new M1 Abrams RL shift knob is available is 5 very unique finishes: Stainless Steel, Satin, Flat Black, Gun Metal (gloss black), and our brand new Mirror Finish! Similar in appearance to chrome, the Mirror finish is actually stainless steel meticulously polished to a mirror-like shine!

CNC machined from billet stainless steel, this perfectly machined sphere will fit comfortably in your hand while acting as a counterweight for super smooth shifting. The M1 Abrams RL also uses our NTIS technology so that when you change cars in the future, you can keep the shift knob and just order a new $5 dollar insert to install it in your new car if the thread size is different from you STi.

We are also very pleased to announce that we have finished the testing for engraved shift knobs and the final product looks amazing! The engraved M1 Abrams RL will be available in all TWM finishes. Here is a picture of the shift knob with the satin finish installed in the STi:

There is currently a group buy running for this new shift knob, you can see all the details on the following link:

TWM M1 Abrams RL Shift Knob with engraved shift pattern group buy!

Feel free to give us a call toll free at 1-877-655-0540 for any questions or comments. I look forward to working closely with the STi community in the future.

Thank you,

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

I'll confirm with my machinist about engraving when I get back to the office on Monday, I'll post more info as soon as possible...

In the mean time, here is a picture I just took of a satin M1 Abrams RL in my STi. The satin finish matches extremely well with the interior trim, check it out:

And a pic of Gokart3's Satin Abrams RL installed:

Along with his review: http://www.iwsti.com/forums/interior...hift-knob.html

I've been debating between the satin and the flat black finish for my own car, both match the stock interior very well

Thanks for your orders guys!

Have a great weekend,

Kevin

Definately thinking about this one, I put a TWM in my S2000 and I absolutely loved the feel and weight of it. Great vendor and great product.

Thanks for the props Nexus_One! We do supply quite a few S2000 drivers with our shift knobs, overall feedback has been great

I had a team Voodoo knob from Rick's on my S2K. My STi came with the spherical titanium knob and it's so small! I was looking for one like the Voodoo for the STi. How did you like the TWM knob?

Edit: Posted this before I saw the review. Sorry.

I'm ordering mine tonight!
