I don't think Gokart3 has a short shifter in his car, correct me if I'm wrong, if I refer to that thread:

I believe it's just the angle of the picture that makes it look like a short shifter.

Hi,

Unfortunately, this is not something we can do at this time. That finish is not an option we offer and about the engraving, right now we can't do custom work like that, we have to produce about 20 shift knobs at a time with the same shift pattern to offer a good selling price. We are offering a 6 speed pattern for the STi and currently working on two other shift patterns that we have very high demand for.
