There are lots of synthetics out there, and my suggestion to use them does not guarantee any improvement in your situation.

However, I have noticed that I don't have as much work to do to remove stuff like road tar on my car. I use stuff called Zaino. This is what I got. Read all the info there, and decide if you really want to try it.

How can you say he's a good neighbor? his bees are swarming you and messing up your property?

anyways, if he's reasonable, maybe you can convince him to move the bees somewhere else on his huge property. otherwise either start a petition or find some hornets or some other way to kill the bees without directly linking yourself to their death.

I washed my car yesterday and just ran out right now and snapped a few pictures so you can see what one day does to my car!

A car cover is in order at the very least.

Dude, that's BS. I'd say call the city, ask neighbors to help out, or you could just buy 30 hornets. God, that YouTube video was massacre.

OK, I am new to this forum and this is my first post and I am a little surprised that I am here discussing honeybees! I am a subie owner, long time had them since '79, and have been a bee keeper for 14 years. I have had as many as 5 colonies in my yard at one time and with much tighter housing than you have and have never had the problem you have described. From what I can tell from your pictures and property layout the bees that are doing your car are not from the neighbor but probably a colony that was from a swarm in the spring and established themselves in your garage or other near by location and your car is in their flyway. It would be rare for that many bees to fly from your neighbors in mass over your house. etc. I would start looking around your house, garage, sheds etc, around the eves any holes etc. and see if you have an colony. Beekeepers in general will do whatever they can to keep good relations with neighbors, I sure do. If you do find a colony contact your neighbor and have him or some other beekeeper come in and remove the colony ASAP. You do not want them to build a lot of honey in your walls or ceiling. I know I have removed a colony from a living room ceiling before and it was a mess. Calling an exterminator and killing them in the wall or ceiling will only lead to further problems down the road when the bees rot or wax moths get into the comb and the honey leaks out everywhere.

Oh, and the hornet idea, forget it. The video is one that most beekeepers have seen over the years. The hornets are only found in Japan and Asia. No such animal here!

Kind of OT but do you mean that specific hornet? Because we have plenty of big ass hornets where I live. (and no they aren't wasps, these things a 2" long monsters. )

Sorry I was not more specific. The hornets in the video are bee hunters and they are not native to North America. There are plenty of hornets of various kinds throughout North America but none to my knowledge hunt honey bees. There are some that hunt cicadas, we have those throughout the Eastern US and they are pretty good sized similar to the ones on video, and also there are the large paper nest type hornets as well, but again they do not prey on honey bees.

That fallout is unreal! I'd try talking to the guy first, then try my option 1 or 2 above.

Trust me I try, but my stepdad is well I cant say it on the forums. I clean in out a few times a month and I work on my car in it, btu I am not allowed to have my car in there for more than 2 days at a time or I get yelled at.

My stepdad has a quad, snowmobile, golfcart, little bros quad, and a bunch of junk he wont put outside.

I opted to build a shed for all that stuff but they wont hear it. And we were supposed to build another garage but they decided to put an inground pool in instead.
