I didn't notice any white spots, and I've got a black STI. I loved it last year, yeah the paint was new- but I didn't have to futz with any pre-cleaner, glazer, etc. (And I notice that M&M are both going to a similar "SFX" (or whatever the initials are) and backing away from their three step Clean, Polish, Wax.)
All of a sudden Carnuba is old news, it seems. Anyway, I did the car three times last summer, very easy to get on and buff off, no need for machinery and finish was still in good shape this 'spring' (June) here in Maine. I DID take a couple of swipes at some smudges and small scratches with the Ice Detailer this year, and I think I'm gonna have to go back to M&M to get it ready for final coats of Turtle Wax Ice.
CN: A real time saver, particularly if your paint is in good shape.

i used there liquid clay bar and wax the clay bar was a joke, it did nothing a little elbow grease could'nt. the wax was nothing special, it was easy on and off but the finish was mediocre, the nice aspect is the ability to do your trim as welll which it did do a good job on. all and all imho there is much better out there.

i've been using optimum's spray wax as of late and i love it. I can do the whole car in about 15 minutes. Unfortunately i dont have any super great pics, but this one shows off the wetness of it pretty well.

For this pic the car was washed with ONR and hit with meg's QD. I had waxed it with Otimum Spray Wax about 9 days prior. The beauty of it is that there are no abrasives or cleaners so you can use it every wash if you feel inclined. I use it about once a month, though i have read independent reviews saying its lasts between 3 and 5 months depending no wash habits and where you live.

The quick option may not always be the best to protect your car. I cannot replace a good old solid coat of wax

It definitely doesn't last long. I only use it when I have to wax my car in the sun .

yeah, the liquid clay is a joke. Not very good results at all. Stick with the solid clay bars if you want it done right. The liquid clay still left my paint with contaminents. I used my moms solid clay bar and it felt as smooth as glass. The synthetic wax I use is the Meguiars NXT generation tech wax. It works great!
