Thumbs down Turtle Wax ICE

So I went out today to get some detailing products (thanks to Peleg for the guide) and I couldn't find any decent polishing products at Target (the only place I had time to go). So I thought wth Ill give ICE a try, I had heard decent things about it before. In the directions it specificaly says "Apply a thin even coat over the entire car..." I thought to myself, "Self, I want to see how good this stuff works. I am going to do a section so I can compare." So I did, and followed the rest of the directions. When I was finished, I could not see a bit of difference between one half of the hood or the other. This on a car that hasnt been waxed or polished for atleast 8 months. IMHO a complete waste of the $17 that I spent on it... Maybe Im crazy... Maybe Im incompetent... Here are the pics, you be the judge...

Turtle Wax Ice is a wax but you should always polish before waxing because a polish will just strip all the wax off the car.

Exactly

I haven't heard many good things about ICE...
