i got the kit. what i did was. wash, then clay bar, then wash again. normally you would put a coat or 2 of the z5 pro on which helps hide swirls and you have to activate it with the zfx stuff. (read about it on the website, helps it cure faster) i skipped that step cause my car is white and you cant see swirls. then the last step you put of z2 pro which is their polish/sealer. i put 2 coats of that on and called it good!! paint is super smooth too!!

im going to do the same thing to my girlfriends 04 wrb wrx tonight!! i will post pics of that once im done!!

Looks great!

FYI, Zaino wont hide swirls. If you want swirls gone, you need to polish first, but on a white car you can get away without it sometimes.

Agreed, the Z5 never did anything for me but now they have a polish (which I won't be using on my STi due to the thin layer of paint already) that will remove fine scratches and spider webbing. I did just look at the site and they apparently have released their Z5 Pro, but it isn't a polish so I don't see how it can help to reduce spider webbing.

Dont worry about taking paint off using a real polish. If you use a Porter-Cable, you could polish 1000x's and still have plenty of paint left.

it took two of us a day to prep the car and a day to do the 6 coats we applied. zaino is great stuff.

on a side note, we are painting the the car "neanderthal black" starting with the hood and trunk and painting the balance next winter. it won't need wax. expect something very industrial.
