Default Turtle Wax "Ice"

HI, i was at Target yesterday and ran into Turtle wax "Ice" their new wax. I went to grab and notice it was liquid, very unquie stuff. I read the back and it say you cant even wax in direct sun light, also no white powery residue meaning you can wax plastic, rubber molding, headlgihts and tail. Then i looked at the price 18$ so i was wondering if anyone used it? also it say it is sythetic liquid polish. Does that mean it only a polish or wax? i know are some product that labeled polish but are also a wax/polish.

They cover scratches and swirls because they contain products called fillers. The way you actually see a scratch or swirl is because light reflects off of it at a certain angle. These fillers fill into the swirl or scratch and help stop the reflection of light. But this won't last because you're not really getting rid of the marks just covering them up.

just stumbeled upon this thread.

i picked up a bottle of "ice" last week, and used it.
and i must say... it is BY FAR the most effortless "wax" that i have ever used.

car got nice and shiny too.

we'll see how it holds up... so far so good.

I love eagle one nano wax. Never did me any harm, used it for 2.5 yrs on my 04 wrx and now on my STI. The only thing I would switch to is Zaino.
No experience with the NEW turtle wax, but I do use turtle wax on my rims, especially now with the terrible break dust buildup.
Just a side note: Never wax in the sun. You should wash, dry and then let the car cool off in a garage and then wax.
