| Grassroots STI Racer | As it's getting warmer out, I find myself detailing my car with Zaino again. Anyone who uses Zaino or similar products knows how much of a process this can be and the amount of time it consumes. Wouldn't it be nice if something like Ezdetailer actually worked? Check out this product... https://www.asseenontvnetwork.com/vc...tailer/173441/ Too bad it's probably too good to be true. This ad is not endorsed by this member. I just did my wifes Outback with a new Porter Cable buffer and used the ZFX Flash cure for the Z2 Pro. Works like a friggen champ, cuts the process time in half. I just don't think the spray-on wonderall magic wax is going to give the same results as Zaino. |

| Grassroots STI Racer | 6 months, that's pretty good. How many coats of Z2/Z5 do you use? I usually only put on one of each with Z6, lasts ~1-2 months. Except the rims, they get mucky much quicker. Even if this Ezdetailer product worked to remove bird droppings, that would help. I'd just keep a can in my trunk with a cotton cloth to clean the droppings on the spot. |

I start with a good Zaino wash, claybar (if needed), the another Zaino wash. Start with 1 coat of Z5 w/ZFX, then 3 coats of Z2 pro w/ZFX using Z6 inbetween coats. It really makes Black the best color ever . I then finish it of with Z8. I really can't say much about the rims, no matter what they always get dirty. I hate it when I have to stop quickly while driving just after I waxed, just thinking about the dust covering the rims. I think Z6 should take care of the bird bombs. I use it regularly on the wifes car does the trick for me. I have even found microfiber towels work better than the $20 cotton towels Zaino wants you to use. Not saying that the $20 towels don't work, I just like the microfiber ones. |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | I get the microfiber towels from Target (in the bundle pack) 5 for $10... I think. I have used the expensive microfiber towels from a local detailer shop, but I got the same result. Once it clears up, I will post pics of a before and after Zaino. |

Thanks for the info. Guess I just gotta accept that there's no easy way of getting your car to look good. And I'm definitely going to get some of those microfiber towels before my next Zaino. | |
