[QUOTE=sti-06]here is my reflection without zaino, i think you can get the same results without long processes with different products. I think zaino just doesnt worth that much time.[QUOTE]

Man you gotta understand where I'm coming from??? Did you even take the time to read my first post, probably not!!! You posted a pic of your car saying that you can get the same reflection using other waxes thats not really why I started this thread!!! Its how long the polish last that I'm after!!! The shine is just a bonus!!! I am not on here to bash anyone,I am simply asking for your respect!! I wish you would see it from my view, what you are doing to this thread is (for example) if you started a thread saying what mods should I do next on my 06??? And I jumped on your thread and said my 05 is better than your 06. You see what I mean I have not owned a 06 to judge my opinion on one, and I don't ever plan on owning one so I would keep my mouth shut because I have not owned one to make an opinion, and it would not be relivant to post this. You can argue all you want but that is my opinion sorry!!!

How old are you? 16? Is daddy letting you drive his car if you wash and wax it for him? Seriously man, grow up. It's not the end of the world.

My impression of this thread from reading the subject and every post up to this point suggests that we're discussing Zaino versus other car care products. Up until the last couple of posts I had no idea that this was supposed to be a Zaino only discussion.

Hey you know what guys I reread over some of the post on this thread and I appoligize!!! Sorry I've had a really tough week like we all do sometimes!!! I guess I just took you guys the wrong way, I thought at first he was just trying to make me look dumb by posting a pic of his car trying to say that the products he uses was better and trying to hijack the thread, but that wasn't the case at all, he was just trying to say that klasse products work well also. Sorry guys misunderstood your intentions and didn't mean to be an jackhole. By the way I'm 28 years old, is my english that bad but anyways I've heard good things about Klasse products maybe I'll use it sometime, but if you don't mind the extra steps (really not all that hard) I know Zaino works great because I've used it. So I am calling a truce no harm no foul I don't like arguing over stupid stuff!!!

Lets get back to the thread, I thought it was interesting before it got derailed.

I've been using S100 on my car since I bought it two months ago. The shine and depth of it are incredible, but the stuff seems to be really short lived. It's been about two weeks since I put two coats of the stuff on and when the car is wet it already looks like it's getting a bit weak. I'm thinking about switching over to Zaino as soon as I get a garage to put the car in for the initial application. How much does the "initial" kit cost?

Thanks Peleg I guess its like when you get in a fight with your girl and you realize you've been a ***hole, whether you like to admit you were wrong or not you have to appoligize and feel like a dummy I just misunderstood there message to me, and I think the day that I was having kind of wore me down, so I flew off the handle for nothing. Like I said sorry guys didn't mean to snap

Thats why I tried Zaino out to begin with I was using Meguiars Gold Class and the same thing was happening to me, It would look great after I was done but after a week or so it seemed as if I didn't wax the car at all. I wash my car every Sunday so that might have something to do with it. Thats when i saw the link in my first post about the guy who did all the test on different waxes and which one lasted the longest. Then I saw them using it on Elvis's old car and thought to myself if they are using this stuff to help preserve the paint on Elvis's old car this stuff's gotta be good.

As far as the cost goes I sprung and got the Zaino Total Protection Show Car Kit for $84.70. It seems like alot but you really get a full package with this deal. You add everything up and this actually is a pretty good deal. They claim the bottles of polish is enough to coat a corvette 20 times? I also purchased there Grand Finale spray just because I've heard good things about it. Here's the link to the price list http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/...tegory_Code=QO next time I wax my car I might try Klasse, their seems to be alot of positive feedback on that product also. But I can't find any test's that have been done to see how long it lasts.

$85 doesn't seem like much when you add up all the bottles of other stuff you end up buying trying to figure out what works and what doesn't.

What's a good product to remove light scratching? I tried out that California Water Blade thing and after using it I noticed a couple of very light, difficult to see scratches on the side of my car. I'd like to take care of that before I go through the trouble of doing the initial Zaino application.

I'm glad you brought this up because actually I almost forgot. I don't really have any scratches on my car to really test out Zaino's swirl/scratch remover but I applied this as my first coat, so if their were any swirls it would hopefully get rid of them and prep the surface well enough so I could lay down the first coat of Z2 pro. I got to say I really wasn't impressed with their swirl/scratch remover, it seemed to light to remove any scratches but I would like to experiment with it a bit more before I make a final judgement.

As far as you removing scratches, for those really hard to get out ones you will have to use an orbital + scratch remover compound of your choice. I work in a body shop and the way we remove scratches for the customers is use an orbital and I know 3M has some really good compounds to use. Peleg also has a really good method for this check his thread out its really good Peleg's Guide to Detailing

Zaino isn't very good at removing scratches. Even the Z-5 product I tested several years back didn't do much, if anything, to the swirls (and scratches) I had on my car.

I may give that a shot when it's time to get to work on the car. I'm sure that between the 3M stuff and a claybar that scratch should disappear.

The Z5 is also what I used and really wasn't impressed with it either. I've used other scratch and swirl remover products that are better. Their spray details and their Z2 pro are great though.
