What would you suggest using on hoses to make sure they don't prematurely crack and to keep them healthy looking? Also, where do you get the autoglym stuff?

I believe Autopia carries the Autoglym among a few other websites.

I tried that and the P21S total auto wash, they are both GREAT.

For hoses, plastic and rubber you can use any plastic/rubber protectant. There are alot of brand out there.

Just make sure to use a very fine polish tip and some wheel polish. Start with a small area and see how it goes.

Hahaha...I remember when I first saw em at AutoZone, me and my buddies picked it up and plopped em on his Toyota Previa mini-van. We drove to school the next day and when class was over, they were stolen off his ride.

We got a good laugh out of that one!

Used the P21s Gel Wheel cleaner and it got off most of the stuff I was having issues with. Not all of it. Is there another level up I can use?

I might try to clay a rim later on but I don't know what kind of success I'm going to have. No matter what, everything sticks to these rims and it drives me nuts.

you need wheel wax son! dude after useing wheel wax nothing sticks to em.

after you get em clean, please do your self a favor....

Detailed my Buddies EVO today.

wash, #9, #7, and #26

was really surprised that EVO had purple in the paint, as well as all of the flake. night and day differance on the car. 1000 times better than the SGM on my 06 IMO.

teaching John how to detail, lol...

I also had to get some scratches out of the Jeep. just did a wash, and a light cutting compound.

If you want to do the wheels really theroughly, I would take them off. Use a pressure washer, meguiar's teflon brushes. It just takes time and elbow grease.
