I guess that makes sense. I liked the foam ones cause I used less product than I did with a terrycloth one. Less, as in less that is absorbed into the pad/cloth and wasted. I probably apply too much but have not had any issues with removal. Maybe I will do some experimenting with different pads. Thanks for the info.

No problem. I've never tried it with the foam I've only used the applicators that came with my kit. They're terry cloth.
