Default What kind of Wax do you use?

I have had very good luck with the Meguiars Tech 9 wax, i used it on my '02 Wrx, and know on my STI and it is very nice wax. I have tried all other sorts, and this stuff seems the best. What kind of wax do all you other people use?

I worked in a Pep Boys for over a year, and tested em all. I still go back to Mothers Paste wax every time. I think they make a quality wax for the money

I've been using Megs NXT. Pretty happy with the results.....just wish it lasted a bit longer.

not really a wax, but i use rejex. check it out at rejexusa.com. it's a polymer that makes it hard for dirt, bugs etc to stick to your paint. works on brembos too to reduce brake dust accumulation. you use it instead of wax. gives a really deep shine too. also lasts a long time.

I use Zymol Japon. It's expensive, like $50 for 8 ounces, and you have to store it in the refridgerator, but it looks fantastic when its applied.

*edit* I just read that it's specially formulated for Japanese paint. Probably some marketing mumbo jumbo, but this stuff looks fantastic when its buffed up. I won't switch for anything less.

Mothers reflection....although zaino or klasse followed by pinnacle soveriegn is the best. I just dont have time for a 12 hour wax job.

I tried Meguiars NXT for the first time on my STI a couple of weeks ago. In the past for other cars, I've used Eagle One NanoWax, Meguairs 3-step, and cheap Zymol.

I like Mequiars NXT the best because it's really quick to apply and remove and lasts way longer than the NanoWax (so far). With three young daughters, I just don't have time to spend an entire afternoon detailing the car.

I've thought about doing that. Do wheel cleaners like Meguiars Hot Rims remove the wax protecting the wheel?
