Default Just spent 200 on car detailing stuff

Well crap. I have quite a bit swirls on my hood and trunk, and I went ahead and just purchased 200 dollars worth of car detailing stuff. I am a detailing nut, and I can't stand seeing any imperfection on my car whatsoever. With that said, here is what I bought, courtesy of Proper Auto Care.

Porter Cable 7427
Menzerna Power Gloss
Menzerna Intensive Polish
Menzerna Final Polish II
Menzerna Final Touch Glaze
Menzerna FMJ

I am also thinking about opening up a little semi business on the side with car detailing once the weather starts getting nicer. Charging people for various detailing jobs on a car, just to make a little extra money out of all this. Hey I figure I can make a pretty good profit detailing peoples cars .

^^ Nice, I prefer Zaino myself, but I remember when I got my initial kit it cost me around $150. Now I just order stuff every 6 months and usually get by with around $50.

Nice, have you had any experience with Menzerna? I saw a post on here talking about how good it was, so I thought I'd try it out.

^^ Nope, just Zaino. I used it once and afterward was addicted to it, and have a technique down with it's application, so I haven't cared to switch. I'm not saying nothing else out there is better, I just haven't seen any reason to switch.

^^ I haven't used their wax, but I have been quite happy with their detail/gloss spray and their interior spray. Both sprays smell great, do an awesome job, and you can tell it's some quality stuff. I've heard great things about their wax as well, but I've never used it.

meguiars only here for me...I use there whole line of stuff and it is awsome. I use KLASSE once in the spring then back to all the other stuff. Use the buffer and meguiars #83 to take out lite swirl marks.

Used to use it, with no complaints.

Nice, I have been really thinking about getting the 7427 PC and the menzerna polishes... I need to commit the $ to it and do it!!! Let me know if it takes out your swirling completly (I know on the detailing boards... autopia... that people rave about that using that stuff witha PC 7427 really works well) So anyway let me know if all your swirling is gone (no micromarring... all gone )

BTW, I have been doing a cardetailing business out of my parents garage (yay, no overhead to pay) I have been doing it for almost 2yrs now... it is on and off I suppose now since im in college and etc, but this christmas break im doing really well this week I had 6 cars! And have more planned, I should make $1500-$1800 this break (3-4weeks). My point is if you operate right you can get good money doing this, I have learned a lot from it and its great to have your own business (i used to work at arbys... lol) so yeah go for it dude!
