Thanks for the before and after pics. From what other's where saying about their results with how the brake dust washes right off. I was thinking that all the brake dust sprayed right off. I did see the same results that you showed in your pics. I feel better now about the results. I'm sure somewhere in the near future somone will start making the 04/05 hoodscoops for the 06 sti. They have them for 02-05 WRX. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. Last edited by turbosmitty; 11-01-2005 at 08:42 PM.

IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2004 Trader Rating: (13) | Are you guys using 3M Imperial Hand Glaze (http://www.properautocare.com/3mimhanglaz.html) or 3M Perfect-It Polish for Light Color Cars (http://www.properautocare.com/3mperpolforl.html) before the Rejex? |

This Rejex stuff works so far. I wonder if all the waterspots from last saturdays rain, wash off easily? I tried rubbing a few away with my finger but they are still there. But on the black rubber parts, the waterspots rub away very easily.

Hhahah I updated my dream sheet every two months and put all overseas, even in basic, and still got stateside! Iam so glad I dodged Kun. As far as GTSts, your right on that one. I remember all the illegal drift action stories my supervisor used to tell me that he watched at the piers. If you do go check out the drifting, watch out for OSI! Yea its sucks being a crew chief, you work ****ty hours especially overseas. But if I was stationed in Jap, who the F cares! as long as I have my S15 or version IV STi. Hahaha. Good luck when you get over there at Kadena lucky mofo! Dont extend for to long. If you need some Rejex when your down there let me know. I can get some locally for $10 bucks a bottle. Just PM me or something and I would be more than happy to send you some. BTW, a lawn dart can out manuever a 15 anyday.LOL

Yes the almighty thunder chicken can out manuever the 15 any day of the week, but that's all useless once there's an engine or EPU failure LOL! I've seen several 15's come back with one motor running, it's good to have a back up motor when you need it!

IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2005 Trader Rating: (4) | I used the hand glaze. The second link (Perfect-It Swirl Mark Remover) is geared towards removing swirl marks/water marks. I believe it is more of an abrasive than the glaze. If your paint looks clean under the moonlight then just go with the glaze. If you see swirls/spiderwebs in the clearcoat at night then hit it w/ some of the polish, then glaze, then rejex. BTW, in the PA area the National Auto stores carry pretty many of the 3m products. If you have one local you can save shipping. |

| Silver Member | I had a funny experience this morning I thought I'd share, and a little update about my Rejex. A little recap: I did my 1 and only Rejex application back in September and loved it. I laid down 2 coats at the time and it is still going strong! I have washed my car numerous times since then and put on about 3000 miles. The weather is getting much colder now, last night it rained, and this morning there was frost on everything... except my car, which was covered in half-marble sized ice-blobs!! HAHA! My Rejex is still strongly beading water, and last night's rain stayed beaded until it froze! All the other cars in my driveway were coated in that light morning dew frost, but my car was covered in ICE!! So after letting my car warm up a bit and my windshield defrost, I left for work. I got on the highway and started hearing the ice blobs shed off, so I punched it from 65 - 80 real quick and in my rear view I watched a hailstorm of ice fly off of my roof/roof wing/spoiler/trunk!! I kinda feel sorry for anyone behind me, but it must have been a sight!! HAHA!! Now, I'm not saying that having ice frozen all over your car is a good thing, but it's testament to the water beading of my 3 month/3000 mile old Rejex. I wish I could have gotten pictures, but it was early and c..c..c..cold!! |

| Professional STI Racer | Sounds like some good stuff. I may have to try it in the future. I am a Klasse fan, even though waxing does piss me off because it gets in the little corners and cracks and dries and it is a ***** cleaning out. It does a good job protecting my paint though, I was spinning some cookies in the snow and came in contact with the limbs of a tree, only surface scratched a little and it will buff right out, I was pretty surprised because Subaru paint usually has a bad reputation. My car definetely shines very well with Klasse. |
