Default Zaino - Love it!

Hello All,
I just washed my car and put one coat of Zaino on. Over time I put a total of 7 coats of that yummy smelling stuff. I think it looks decent considering the car has already taken a NJ winter beating! Note: Please excuse the dirty garage!

That's all I use on my java black/gold. Zaino is the best wax out there....my car has 25,000 + and my black paint looks new.

I'm tellin' everyone, from personal experience....you will TRASH Zaino as soon as you try this stuff called PPS. It's a 2 step process that basically teflon coats your car...UNBELIEVABLE results on my Grand National!...Zainos longevity is pathetic!...immediate results are nice as in the above pics, but the sheeting of water through your next couple car washes will dwindle significantly to almost non-existant in a VERY short time with Zaino... http://www.ppstechnology.com/ You will be AMAZED!

Totally incorrect. I used Zaino on my last car, put about 5 coats on and 2 years later it was still beeding up. If you call 2 years pathetic I'm not sure what isn't.

5 coats huh?....2 years...Impressive, but non typical...if that's the sorta work you like to put into your vehicle, that's great! Guess if it truly did last for 2 years, it'd be well worth it. But I'm telling you from experience with both products, it will benefit you to try this product. It takes one coat and your done! Two step process....wash with step one and apply step two. Then, allow to sit overnite and "cure". Doesn't require additional coats for deepr shine. Certainly not trying to say you're wrong or discount what you've experienced yourself with Zaino, but there have been other threads covering this same protection "issue" with Zaino(can't remember if it's this forum or the Turbo Buick forum)....To each his own though...

Keep in mind that most people who wax their cars enjoy the process, so a product that applies once, and last forever may not be an attractive option. Additionally, I doubt the shine and depth of your product are as good as Zaino's. Generally speaking, there is always a sacrifice for longevity.

Whelp, this'll be my last post on this subject. You are correct that some people enjoy the "process" of detailing and waxing their cars. It can truly be relaxing. However, in reply to your statement above, all I can say is take a look at this link of my GN that I posted awhile back... Grand National pics... This was after an application of PPS and NUMEROUS washes later. You be the judge. By the way, the GN's paint job at that time was about 4-5 years old. Before you doubt something, atleast try it. People were losing their minds over the "shine and depth" of the paint on my GN! Oh yeah, forgot to mention, PPS is also excellent for removing swirls/haze, etc....and, bugs, tar, etc...they all wipe off effortlessly after applying this stuff. If I were you, I'd be a bit hesitant myself with all these claims. Keep in mind, I'm NOT getting any sort of compensation from hyping this stuff..just after having had black cars my entire driving life and trying a billion products to keep them looking new, I KNOW what's worked best for me....that, coupled with ease of application and longevity equals a winner for me!

I am not a fan of Zaino either and I will back up what whiplash is saying about PPS, it really is some amazing stuff. There is a body shop near where I live (in Dover, NJ) that uses nothing but PPS when they are done working on a car and they look amazing... 90% of this shops revenue is European exotics.

A buddy of mine is a well established car detailer, been doing it for over 10 years and owns his own detail place... he recommends Klasse http://www.autopia-carcare.com/kus-kla-10.html, I use Klass AIO and the SG on my cars and the shine is amazing, and I don't have to waste an entire weekend shining my car. BTW I talked to the body shop owner and he does not recommend Zaino and my buddy absolutely loathes Zaino and says that most detailers do.

Zaino is awesome, and althouth I haven't tried that PPS stuff, I can guarantee that Zaino lasts for a long time and I won't be switching to anything else until it stops working. I had 50+ coats of Zaino on my previous vehicle, and although it had 100,000+ miles, the paint still looked brand new.
