Default So I tried P21S wheel cleaner for the first time.

OMFG this stuff is miracle juice! I used to loathe cleaning my wheels. It really does live up to all the hype in the other threads.

Sorry for making a new thread about it, but this is a must-have for all STi owners!

It's fairly expensive, but well worth it!

I bought the starter bottle and the refill kit - 13.95 (16.9oz) and $17.95 (33.8oz)

The wheels are like the day I picked up the car (well, almost!)

/shamless plug for a great product

(but the cheap bastard in me has to ask - anyone found something that works the same, but, oh, say $4.99 a bottle? LOL)

-Steve

P21s definitely makes good stuff. I've used some of their products. For the STI, I've been keeping Rejex on the wheels which has done real well so far.

I have to ask how does it work better? I use P21s and if there is something out there better, I need to know about it because this stuff works darn well. Tell us!

Edit: I use the gel and not the liquid.

An old post about the wheel cleaner's excellent cleaning capability: God's gift to the STI owner to combat that Brembo brake dust

I have the Meguiares and it's good, but I've never used the P21S stuff so I have no basis for comparison.

With Megurias you spray and wash, but then you need to get down there and really dig into the wheels to get them really clean.

Hey guys! Greased Lightning Orange Blast wheel cleaner works really well also. Spray it on, let it soak for 30-40 seconds , and hose off. your wheels look brand new. Only on occasion do I actually have to do the frront ones twice. And I never have to wipe them. This stuff is inexpensive also. You can get it at Walmart, Target, or any parts store.
