Default wax on plastic

i was waxing my car, and i kinda was lazy with it, apparently i let some of the wax accidentally run onto the plastic piece in the from under the grill. now i cant even wash it off! it left a white residue on the plastic. i was wondering if there was any way to get rid of it. thank

Try a plastic cleaner but if all else fails, just use a black marker. Try using Zaino as a wax it won't do that. Not sure if Meguires Gold class is the same way or not, I'm sure someone else on here knows though.

Mothers makes some stuff called Back to Black. Comes in a red bottle and you can get it at AutoZone, Advance, etc. Takes dried wax right off. I even use it on my tires.

Try using the Super Glaze by the Wax Shope..It's clear and leaves no residue on the metal or plastic. Actually makes the plastic look nice.
