Also, I've heard great things about zaino wash. It's not bad to mix and match per say, but some shampoos might strip layers more than others.

P.S. If anyone reading this is new to detailing, please clay your car. Prep is what makes the final product really pop.

I'm probably using too much. I do let the whole car dry before I start wiping. Last time I used SG, I got a lot of haze/cloudiness so I had to wipe that off with AIO. I think the car not being in the shade (it wasn't hot out though) made things worse as well.

Does anyone use a rotary buffer like the porter cable to wax there car? I'm thinking about buying one for the summer. I know to be careful too. I've had some practice at my work on junk hoods and trunks.

Try the Wipe On Wipe Off method with sealant glaze, search autopia for detailed instructions.

Hmmm, interesting about those recommendations on Klasse SG. I find it works best by letting it completely dry before wiping off. Now with the AIO stuff I don't always let it dry completely and do a section at a time but not with SG. I pretty much follow these steps...

I use a porter cable buffer but only when I am cleaning the paint with a paint cleaner or polishing it with a polish. For wax I find it works best to do it by hand, plus it is easier to get in all the nooks and crannies and you use less of the product.

ive been thinking about getting a palm applicator "buffer".. id say that would cut down some "elbow grease" time.. and shouldnt hurt the paint any, i guess.

Your sig. is innacurate, unless you have gold 20" wheels. 'Dubs' = 20"

so let me see if i got this right.. a good way of appling all this stuff would be:
1 wash and dry car thoroughly
2 use clay bar and crystal mist
3 apply and take off klasse aio
4 apply and take off paste wax
5 apply and take off klasse sealant
sound good??

No, you want to use the sealant over the AIO, and the wax last. E.g., 1-2-3-5-4. But note that doing wax over the sealant has been problematic for some--I'd give it a couple days or even a week to cure completely.

Can't get anything past you. People also have "viper killer" in their signature. I guess you better go pull them over too forum police.

it took 2 people at least 10 hours to do a strip with dawn, detar'ing a good clay bar'ing and a total zaino - 6 coats worth. i'm about to do it again. what's wrong with me? (rhetorical question only)
