IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2008 Trader Rating: (1) | Hey everyone. I have into cars for as long as i could remember and always spent the time to properly clean and take care of all my cars to the best of my ability. After doing about an hour with of searching i have some to the conclusion that i am more or less not using my time very wisely with the products i use and it makes me mad. So here goes: For as long as i can remember Ive been using 95% of meguiars products. I am not putting them down but i notice that the "shine" only lasts so long and only through a couple rain storms. I know wax/polish don't last forever but i bet i can find a better product. So I'm asking for help! I need some suggestions on some products, money isn't a HUGE factor but I'm not going to spend $100 on a super small bottle of wax(you know what I'm getting at) I'm looking for: Wash mite, car wash (soap), maybe a sprayer, clay, wax and polish. Something to break down that brake dust would be nice too. I have only used a orbital once and it was OK but I'm not ready at the current time to do it again. I also really never polished a car before... The best i guess Ive done is wash, clay, wash and then wax. I know there is way more i can add to that to get the small swirl marks and very minor scratches out. So please help me if you can, i want to get some stuff so i can get my car looking the best it can since my time is really worth a lot to me. This ad is not endorsed by this member. | Silver Member | Zaino is the shiznit. They don't sponsor this site though, so not many people here use/recommend them. Just google Zaino and go to town, you'll never look back. |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2008 Trader Rating: (1) | Ill look into the mitt and towels. I already use a 2 bucket system. I'm looking for someone to just lay the products right out. Try not to use aberrations since i need to buy it. Also what are the steps? Ive searched and there is nothing really cut and dry. I want to "re-do" the whole car. For example, do i wash, clay, wash, wax, polish, seal? Like i said before, i have only done washing, clay and wax. Thanks Last edited by mond12345; 09-17-2008 at 01:48 PM. |
