| Junior STI Driver | Ditto... get that egg off NOW! If left for 48+ hours in the direct sun, you'll likely begin to etch the clear coat. Once you start to erode (e.g., etch) the clear coat, you start talking about serious polishes and orbital buffers to restore the paint. Unless you have the equipment and experience, this is a significant bill. |

Yea, you are going to want to get it off asap if you havent got it off already. Best was is just to get as much of it off with washing then use some polish by hand first to get off all the residue off, then you can actually polish the paint for real(by machine or lots of elbow grease) to remove any possible minor etching or marring. HOPEFULLY the car had a good wax or sealant on it when the car got egged right? That would help protect the paint and make clean up a whole lot easier.
