IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | The black trim pieces on the outside of cars? I've been wondering because I don't really have anything in the stable that works all that well. Would be looking for something that provides gloss & protection. Thanks, This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

However, it won't provide much, if any, gloss. Something like Griot's Garage Rubber and Vinyl Dressing would do that, but it's not particularly long lasting in exterior applications. |

| Silver Member | Does that also work well on the rubber trim? Like the stuff around the windows? Mine are starting to look a little rough.... |

The tire dressing had more of a shine and seemed to work better on the plastic plate under the wipers/windshield. RP |

I did the same thing for a while. I tried Armor All Tire Foam stuff. It was good for those parts but you had to be careful because it is very greasy and can get everywhere. I didn't like the oily/greasy feel so I went back to the Back to Black from Mothers and haven't looked back. | |
