Default Spots & stains.. wtf?

Just did the meguires 3 step, scratch/oxidation/polish and wax...

before, i had all these spots and stains.. seem like water stains possibly?? they didnt even come out!!

I tried a section, which I used all 3 steps, and nothing.. i have these stains all throughout the vehicle, and you can only see it @ night under certain like.. if you look for it.

why didnt it take it out??? what is it? and how do i get rid of them!

thanks in advance.

Pics would greatly help. Were you using a machine polisher or doing the correction by hand?

I think your talking about water stains as I have had the same problem myself. I have heard that white vinegar takes them out, but I have yet to try this myself. I used stratch X and that worked but is more abrasive on the paint than the vinegar and a clean cloth would be.

it's not just water spots I am talking about, it is the minerals and deposits dirt or from acid rain. Thats when you need to try vinegar or a different spot remover. A wet rag will do nothing.

Yup... hand corrections can only go so far... a Porter-Cable/orbital buffer is the real fix. Additionally. what specific Meguiars polish did you use?
