I hate to say this but the UK detailing standard is far superior to the US overall, from the DIY guys to the top end pros. I can name on my 1 hand the top detailers (the ones who surpass everyone else) in the states but in the UK there are just so many more guys who deliver such a high level of perfection its hard to keep track.

Wow I want to ship my car to the UK to get it detailed.... I'm scared to ask how much a job like that would cost but that is one of the most extensive jobs I have seen.

That would be Paul Dalton. Im just tlaking in general now but say what you want about the guy but if he can get 5k for a detail that good for him. So many people hate on Paul because of his pricing structure, who cares! If I had a wealthy enough clientele and could charge a few thousand for my details, I would. Why not? I could argue that both Matt from OffYourMarks and Clark from Polished bliss are on the same level as Paul though.
