Use a quality wax or synthetic sealant after a good wash. This will keep the dirt and road grime from sticking to the paint surface and it makes washing next time much easier

Be careful with washing, use two buckets, grit guard, or whatever you want just be careful with this step.

I would just first off give the car a really good wash. Get all the swirls and blemishs out. Give it a couple coats of wax or sealer. And every morning just use a california duster to take the dust off. That should keep you're car clean for at least a week, as long as it dosen't rain or anything.

If you really want it to stay clean, you could get a car cover. A little extreme IMO but still gonna keep the dirt off really well.

Like just about everyone else said, first you need to get it really clean. That means getting all of the imperfections out (wash, claybar, polish, wax, wax).

That makes all of the intermediate cleanings/washes much easier and faster.

I would also be weary of car covers. When you put it on, make sure the car is clean, and the car cover cannot rub or abrade the surface at all. If you have dust or dirt caught under it, it could potentially leave more swirls and scratches than you are preventing.

Just my .02.

yes I would get rid of all the imperfections like most of the others mentioned and then make sure you take a little more car washing the car (like doing if yourself.)
