IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2005 Trader Rating: (4) | The hood is aluminum to reduce weight and thats why it dents easily. The rest of the car is just fine. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2006 Trader Rating: (5) | Nope. When the owner never called or showed up the following day, I gave him a call and was told after the 4th of July weekend they'd be out. I said O.K, hung up with him and put a stop payment on the check I wrote out. I could tell they were gonna blow me off. Cost me $15 to stop payment on check. I've been able to wash it myself now and am little by little waxing it. Getting hood dent fixed in a few weeks outta pocket. Let this be a lesson to people. Don't let anybody else work on your car, let alone detail it. I've never even taken my car to dealer since I got rid of the lemon and got this replacement STi back in Nov. of 06. If it wasn't for the surgery, I never would of had somebody else detail it. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | It sucks man. I took my car in for servicing to the dealer, the next day i noticed a slight indent on the hood where they pushed down to shut it. I was so pissed but there's no way to prove they did it. It's really not noticable unless the light hits it just right, but I'm anal about things like that. All my friends think i'm crazy. |

| Amateur STI Driver | I detailed a lot of STi and other expensive cars (or not) and never burn the paint or dented the car... But 80% of my clientel are people that were bargain hunter in the first place (less than $200 for a full detail done in less then 4h!?!) went to another detailer who hided the swirls with filling one step product and reapeared two wash later. Then they come to me to fix it and then understand why it takes me from 8 to 30 h to detail a car and it cost so much. But a detailer denting the hood! WTF it s a good one. (dealer we all know anything can happen but a detailer!!!) Sorry to hear about your car, I hope one day someone will sue them to teach them a lesson GL with the car |
