Polish is what gives it a shiny new look and feel.

when i bought my car it was sitting behind the dealer for 1 or 2 months probably only getting sun beatin and pressure washed, it has some oxidation all on the right side of the car. i just bought the meguiars clay bar today and sampled it and it came out awesome glass finish ive never felt on the that side of the car...i would recommend everyone do this at least once a year or every 6 months

I've used the meguiar's clay kit years ago, it sucked, the clay would stick all over your hands! The mother's kit and quality of the clay was so much better. I'm not sure if Meguiar's has upgraded the quality since then, but I would recommend the Mother's clay bar kit from experience.

I dont know what clay you got but i used many bars and they always worked great. No stickyness. ALWAYS remeber to spray the bar when you use it!

I used the "Ubar" from detailers domain, and the optimum detail spray.... Clay held together nicely (first time user) and i was left with a VERY satisfied finish
