Default What a great morning..

Well, this morning I was woke up by marble sized pellets of hail bouncing off the windows and roof of the house. And of course because of my luck, my STi was left outside during this and now on the hood there are about 7 or 8 tiny dents from the damn hail. I am very frustrated, but what can you do about nature. I was not home, so I was not able to park the car in a garage. So my question is, since these are so tiny, but still noticeable, is there any DIY way of removing these little dents?

Thanks....oh yeah its Friday the 13th, no wonder.

i would go find a local dent popper guy. I had a small ding (from an acorn at the gf's house) on my hood so I'd imagine it is very similar to what you have. I had a dent popper take care of it and it is compeletly gone. Absolutely no trace that there ever was a dent there. Great work and well worth the money.

Do you have a deductible on comprehensive through your insurance? It's an act of god as they put it, so its covered without raising your rates. Only thing is you have to cover the deductible.

I dont know if I wanna deal with insurance because somehow they will probably bend me over. But maybe I will do that, and also do you think that a dent repair kit would work? Not many body shops around here.

Thanks

Hire a stripper!

It won't help with the dents so much, but it will make you smile

I know a few dudes that would gladly let the high end car they drive take a few dimples in exchange for not having to wake up at home.

I hope that made you feel just a tad bit better about it.

Wow, dont you love drivers like that? People these days...especially when they get behind the wheel. Thanks for all the replies, I am almost over it.. but it really does get annoying that there are little "dimples" on the hood. Still looking for a solution...

Thanks
