Default how do you get the sticky stuff from a track number off your window?

So I went to my first ever track event and they gave me my numbers. I slapped them on my 08 STI and had a blast!!! Now when I got home I peeled the numbers off and there is a bunch of sticky crud that wont come off. Ive hit it with fingernail polish remover to no avail.

So what do you guys do?

Thanks tons,

Do you actually ever remove any of the old numbers? I always thought you considered them badges of honor and were disinclined to take any of them off.

But I can see where you'd want Dan to practice with the Windew a bit so he can be ready for your next track event!

I remember the first time I ever took my car to a track. The numbers were just written on the windows with a white wax-chalk hybrid of sorts. I put off washing my car because I always enjoyed people asking me what the number was for.

Them: "What's the number on your windows for?"

Me: "Took it up to the track. "

Yup, pit boy Dan at your service. Would you like a six pack with that tire pressure check?

I saw a guy who put blue tape under his stickers, which I followed, and made removing the stickers a lot easier.
