I use old clay bars with a couple of cap fulls of carwash detergent in a medium size squirt bottle (old simply green bottle) of water as wash/lubricant. seems to work fine

I've always used the steel wool with some window cleaner. I've been detailing cars with my dad since I was in the 6th grade and I am now 31. This is what I swear by for any stained window or chrome stained parts with a lil elbow grease of course.

What about water marks on paint? I have them all over my trunk and its annoying as hell.
