Default Buffer/Polisher question

my dad has a buffer polisher, its 10 inch diameter, and single speed...3200/min.

is this too big and too fast to use on my subie?

the buffers on detailers domain site arent as big and fast as this one...so i'm a bit apprehensive on using it for the car.

when i turn it on in my hand it seems like it wants to jump out.

Default Re: Buffer/Polisher question

3200 rpm? single speed? doesnt sound quite right to me... sounds more like a grinder.
