Damn April Showers... (random vent)

Got up at 7 am this morning. Checked the weather "Sunny and 70 today" they said. So i back out my STi from the garage and lather her up. Applied a fresh coat of wax. Buffed out some problem spots, shined the tires...ahhh...pride of ownership.

I finished up at about 12:30 and its gorgeous outside I thought it was definately a driving day. I load up the Mrs and the kids to take a joy ride and grab some lunch.

Come out of the restraunt and its looking pretty dark.... 1/4 mile up the road...bottom falls the **** out. I'm so pissed right now.

Eh..what do ya do? They gotta get dirty sometime. Just wish I could have got to enjoy that gorgeous gloss for more than 2 hrs.

Damn rain..

yea that happened to me before too. Freshly washed, clay bared, waxed and what do u know, next day it rains

hmmm.... atleast you didnt get snowed on like us over on the other coast.

Last weekend i was in shorts and a t shirt and it was 20 (degress C ) and this weekend it snowed 20 cms and its -15

so total agree with you, everytime i did carwash. gradatuee will rain next day. so what i do is just get detial sprayer and wipe all water spot gentle with mircofiber then vokda! look like carwash again haha.

that's why I check weather.com 10 day forecast and never wax unless I see 4 straight days of sun!

lets see i can park on the road and risk getting my car hit from a drunk driver like 6 other people had on my road in one year or park in my drive way where a telephone line sits above my car and acts like a toilet for birds . i love rain .

Man you guys are nuts. I live offroad. Cleaning my car is a futile effort since I have 1/3 mile of mud/gravel/dust/potholes to drive through.
