IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | I have a SPT short ram intake, I hate that it's Grey powder coated, I was wondering is there any Paint that I can buy to make it be same color as the intake manifold (krinkle RED) Yes I know I can buy Red paint and try to match it from like Home Depot or Lowes, But has anyone everdone this? I could really use some Help or pix? Thanks Fellow Sti'ers! ![]() This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | You can use any paint. I believe I used a red Duplicolor on my APS-I can check when I get home if you want. Since your intake is already dark, you may wan to do a white primer or undercoat to make the red stand out some more. Read the whole thread.. My intake is towards the end. On page 3 and 4 http://www.iwsti.com/forums/engine-p...-write-up.html Edit, Also my red wasnt a perfect match. You can see the intake manifold red vs the Intake red. Close enough.. Im not super picky This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. Last edited by fourseasonsandles; 03-27-2008 at 11:51 AM. |
