Does it actually stay like that though? Or does it just wear off?

I am interested to see the long term results. Mother's "Back to Black" has similar results but goes away after a few days.

I use Black Wow and love it. So far its lasted 4 weeks with no sign of degredation. This is the best stuff I've ever used for plastic/rubber.

On my wrx wagon (2004) they used a vinyl black trim under the doors. It's an exterior trim

I know it looks to bring things back to their original color but does it stay wet looking or real glossy or does it dry out after a while and stay black?

it eventually soaks in and looks normal, then starts to fade a bit.. especially if you wash the car normally
