IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2003 Trader Rating: (11) | Well, they fixed my fender, but put swirls on the car when they "detailed" it and this new scratch on the hood... ![]() To DetailersDomain.com, this one is border line when I run my finger nail on it, do you think a 3" orange pad and intensive polish (mezerna) will take care of that? I think you should be able to get that or most of it. You can always try Menzerna Power Gloss Compound first then IP then Micropolish to finish it off.

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2003 Trader Rating: (11) | Update: even 8 hours wasn't enough for my to finish this car, so I had to work inside. Pictures soon. About 90% of the scratch on the hood came out. Then I discovered they put another one on the roof, such a bunch of tools these guys. Cliff notes: The wheels came off and were cleaned, cleaned the fender wells (they are so clean, you can eat off of them). Poorboy's wheels sealant is new favorite of mine as well. Interior: Sonus total eclipse, 303 fabric guard for the RECARO's. Engine detail....P21S total autowash. Wash (Sonus mitt, Meguiar's gold class, new bucket, gritt guard), clay with Wolfgang clay and lube (my new favorite clay/lube combo) Dry the car with a blower and California jelly blade. Windows were clayed as well. (best thing for windows if you ask me) Menzerna micro polish with orange pad to get rid of all the damn scratches. Menzerna final polish by hand and Meguiar's # 26 wax. She's back to my specs now. ![]() Special thanks to DetailersDomain.com for the polish recommandations, I'm now a firm believer that German detailing products are just better. What you want is an orange pad, Porter polisher and Menzerna micro polish and these water marks will be a thing of the past.

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2003 Trader Rating: (11) | I could have went with a yellow pad a rubbing compound, but I got the results I wanted. The orange pad with the micro polish can deal with 2500 grit scratches. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
