Excellent work, pictures etc.

Can you please elaborate on the 2 polishes that you use, what do you use each for and with which pad? I'm switching polish brands and I have seen this Menz stuff around, just need more info.

Did I mention you did really great work?

Wow, that thing looks brand new again! Awesome job man! How much would a detail like this cost? $250?

The car got a total of 4 differnt types of polish with the Flex and 2 different kinds of a clear seal, one for protection(z-cs) and the other for depth(z8) The first 2 coats of polish were for paint correction. First I used Menzerna Super Intensive Polish with a orange lake country 6.5inch CCS pad. The SIP is great for swirl removal and micro marring type correction as well as the orange LC pad. I followed up the SIP with Menz. 106FF micro polish, this is another corrective polish thats less intense and it penetrates the rock hard clear coats of most new vehicles. It aids in paint correction and acts as a great "finishing" type polish after the SIP to bring back the shine. I used 106ff with a LC white polishing pad also 6.5inch. I have only used these polishes 2 times and so far they are very nice, I will really put the SIP and 106ff combo to work on a badly swirled 330 BMW in a few weeks. After I wiped the car down I went in with Zaino Z-AIO, this is a very mild polish that acts as a great cleaner(prep) for a Zaino sealant, this was a light colored car so I used Z2pro, for dark finishes I would use Z5pro as my sealant. Hope this helps

Well this wasnt a clients car, this is actually my mothers car. This basically was just my first full detail which I chose to test out all the products on. And as far as pricing goes I would say this full process is worth about $260 for a car and $290 for an SUV. In total this rover took me 10 hours and 2 days but after more practice I should get that time down to about 8 hours or so.

Bad ass job man, I have to ask a question. I've noticed many people detailing cars tape certain areas of the car, why is that?

When machine polishing its a good idea to tape off areas you dont want to get polish into like door jams and crevices plus any plastic parts that the polisher shouldnt touch or you dont want to polish I choose to tape off like badges or hood/side vents. Also On the hood I tape off down the middle to split into 2 sections so I can work in a smaller area more effectively.
