Deployment

Ok guys, I'm not entirely sure on where to post this at and I figured the closest thing I could get to it definitely had to do with car care although not necessarily how everyone else talks about it thus far. If there is a better forum and I am just being blind to it then mods feel free to move it

Well, unfortunately the time is coming up again that all people in the Navy hate, the dreaded DEPLOYMENT. That's right, it's time for me to go and say farewell to everything I know, love, and hold dear to me for at least the next 7 1/2 months and have every single day repeat itself (ever seen the movie "Groundhog Day" w/Bill Murry? Yeah, it's just like that...). Unfortunately, my wife doesn't know how to drive a stick shift yet (can't decided if that's a good or bad thing at this point) so my beloved STi is going to get to sit for a long while. My question is what all, if anything, do you guys recommend I do to set my STi up for the long haul while I'm gone? TIA guys, all helpful responses welcome.
