My "shop" is just my garage. Im not a buisness and dont really plan to be, yet. Basically im going to do local detailing out of my garage as a side job. Right now im doing mainly a lot of testing to see what works and looks best.

Looks like we have similar taste (minus the Zaino) You will love the Menzerna polishes, they are outstanding. Definitely post a review of the Flex once you use it, I'm strongly considering getting one. If it can correct as well as my rotary can without worrying as much about damaging soft paint I'm all over it.

wow that is awesome! This is slightly off topic, but do you think the flex would be good for a beginner? I was going to get the porter cable but see that autopia has a lot of great things to say about it.

From what I can gather, the Flex bridges the gap between a porter cable and a rotary. It's powerful so it can still generate enough heat to burn the paint if you aren't paying attention, but it's still a DA polisher so it should be much easier to use without creating holograms. I was taught to use a rotary when I first started detailing because that's all that people used then. But most of the work I do is on my own car and other cars that are fairly well taken care of, so if the Flex can come close to the correctional ability of a rotary I'm all over it. I love the idiot-proof factor of my porter cable but for the bad swirls and scratches it takes forever to correct so I usually reach for the rotary.

Flex would be great for beginners its a bit pricey but still great. We got our shipment in last week and sold out in 24 hours.

We will have more in 2008. The list for $299.95 and can be had for $279.95.

Smoke you will find out that Menzerna is the best polish you can buy out there. We are in NJ as well hit us up sometime.
