have you seen this used on a truely dirty car? I'm very interested, but quite skeptical as to how it will work on my STI which sees 500 miles a week and gets a wash every one to two weeks. How does it do removing dirt from highway driving in the rain/snow?

thanks

I would say that the car could be dusty but not dirty.

not like you would do this after you do a rally or anything

It works well in 1-2 week intervals with regular tarmac driving but I obviously wouldn't use it against caked on mud. The whole idea is that the plush microfiber rag needs to be saturated enough so that it provides sufficient lubrication to gently lift the dirt.

Here is a guide involving ONR:
How-To: Wash and Wax your Car in an Hour or Less
(two towel dry method FTW)

It goes without saying but for heavier dirt, make sure your rag is fully saturated. If extra lubrication is needed, one could use a spray bottle and mist the dirty panel before wiping it down.

I've got a gallon of this no-rinse stuff. I love it. You are welcome to hit me up if you want to check it out. I also have a gallon of their regular wash, which I offered to give away on the NorCal chat thread.

many folks that tried ONR say that its like using "blue" colored water and that it's waste of money...haha. I personally haven't used it but when i hear people say these things, it keeps me away.

Go over to Autopia and do a search, there are TONS of people over there who love it. I don't think I've ever seen a bad review. I just ordered a bottle today, gonna try it out next week.

I did a few cars last week its getting cold up in NJ and it was great, provided you follow the instructions you will be good.

I went to the extreme and used a towel per panel. No issues product does what it says it does.
