IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2006 Trader Rating: (3) | Currently I am using Klasse AIO, followed by two coats of Klasse SG on different days, then topped with S100 (P21S) and I normally just wash the car every week or three. My question is, after my wash what is the best way to keep up the wax, or do I just need to plan on re-waxing every three months or so? I was under the assumption that I would not need the AIO except after a polish to help clean the paint and that the SG would last about six months (more so that this is a wax on top now?). My other assumption is that I don't need to clay before every application of wax, just a couple times of year or depending on paint condition. P.S. Forgot to ask, do you guys every carry any non-animal derived brushes for wheel and trim cleaning? Last edited by x01011000x; 08-08-2008 at 08:59 AM. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | DD.com, I got my order of Optimum No Rinse, Optimum wax and Uber towels. Nice quality stuff. I washed and wax the silver STI and it turned out nice. I noticed in a few spots there are very very light swirls. Is there a hand polish you'd recommend that I could attack these with? Maybe Mequires Scratch-X? Thanks, |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2008 Trader Rating: (2) | If you could let me know what a good starter kit would be for my car. I usually wash, claybar and wax the car. But I wouldnt mind using some nicer stuff. What do you recommend for like a starter kit of your stuff. |

what is the color and condition of your car? I would say 1Z Perls Shampoo Ubar clay bar Optimum Instant Detail Spray and Gloss Enhancer for the clay lube Einszett Extra (if you have heavy swirls) Einszett Paint (to follow up with the hazing that the extra may cause) Einszett Glanz (last step wax /extremely durable) Uber Microfiber Towels That should do it. LMK what I'm missing

Also, what do you recommend using for the dash? I stay away from armor all and other oily products.

| Authorized Vendor | 1 Engine products Degreaser - P21S Total Autowash Brush to use: The World's Greatest Boar's Hair Brush Dressing for rubber /plastics and hard to reach places: Adam's In and Out Dressing for the plastic covers easily reached areas: Black Wow 2. I would use Einszett Plastic/Vinyl Cleaner to clean the trim etc 3. P21S total auto wash can be used for the wheel wells /tires/ engines 4. P21S Wheel Cleaner Gel - the more caked on stuff you have the longer I would let the product sit on the wheels, then use the boar's hair brush and some water to agitate the dirt out rinse /repeat to remove the rest. also consider the Swissvax Wheel Brush and the Spoke Brush |

cover any wires that are exposed but anything newer than 1990 should be fine and watertight This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad.
